Legal

Privacy Policy.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

This policy explains how A4 Automations (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. We are a remote-first business serving businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.

What we collect

When you use our contact form, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your business name, if you provide it
  • the message you send us
  • the page you sent it from and the time it was sent

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so the site can be delivered securely.

How we use it

  • to reply to your inquiry and discuss the work you’ve asked about
  • to prepare a proposal if you ask for one
  • to keep a record of our conversations with you
  • to keep the website secure and working properly

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising. We won’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Legal basis (UK and EU)

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries you send us, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and handle inquiries. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

  • Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this website
  • Resend, which delivers contact form submissions to our inbox
  • Our email provider

Some of these providers may process information outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under applicable law.

Cookies

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance. If we add analytics in future, we’ll update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to deal with your inquiry and any work that follows, and for any longer period the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct or delete it
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
  • complain to your local data protection authority

This includes rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, the Australian Privacy Principles, and US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, where they apply. To use any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. We won’t treat you differently for doing so.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, including limiting who can access it and using reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and isn’t directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
